Three intrepid friends from Trøndelag, Norway, have successfully completed their solidarity crossing from Norway to Africa. This adventure, which began in Halden, Norway, took them rowing approximately 4,050 km, ending in the marina of Ceuta.
The crossing, organized to raise funds and awareness for the work undertaken by Doctors Without Borders, was a remarkable milestone in the field of rowing and solidarity. The three friends have demonstrated not only their physical and mental endurance, but also their commitment to a humanitarian cause of great importance.
Upon arrival at our marina, we provided a boat with skipper, to accompany them on their last stretch of crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. Marina Hercules, concessionaire of the port, showed its support to the cause by offering them a free stay in our facilities. In addition, we offered them the service of beaching the boat, to facilitate their subsequent transfer back to Norway.

From Marina Hercules we have put all our resources at the disposal of these brave adventurers to make their stay in Ceuta as pleasant as possible. This support includes not only the dry dock for the transfer of the boat, but also the hospitality and the necessary comforts so that they can recover and enjoy their time in the autonomous city.
For Marina Hercules, “It is an honor to support this cause”, and “We are committed to promoting solidarity and sports initiatives that bring a positive impact”, as its Director said.
